1 night 3 Wineries
with all meals included

If you want to get out of the busy city life for 2 days, taste best wines of Azerbaijan (including pomegranate wine) from 3 different wineries and enjoy the nature, food + stay at accommodation at winery, then this tour is for you.

Our journey will start with winery in Shamakhi. Vine growing in Shamakhi region today is undergoing a new era of development. The winery was established here in 2014 to set up the vineyards and produce organic wines. A wine factory with an area of 4398 square meters was built in the vineyard within the wine complex , which was put into operation in 2018 and supplied with equipment of the French company “Pera”.

The plant aims to achieve an annual wine production of 1.4 million liters. The vineyard with native and foreign grape varieties has been harvested in the territory of the complex, located in the village of Meysari in Shamakhi, besides, no chemicals are used to protect the products. Grapes harvested in natural conditions and only hand-picked. Since the artificial preservatives, dyes, aromatizers and other chemical components are not used in the wine production process, organic wines are rich in vitamins and minerals, distinguished by its own taste, color and aroma.

The activity to acquire the EU’s organic certification has been started in 2015. Since the certificate has been issued based on the 3-year audit results, the certification of the product is foreseen for 2018.

Then we will have lunch at local family in Madrasa village. Next, we will go to winery in Aghsu where you will have exciting POMEGRANATE WINE – the winery was built with the establishment of one of the largest fruit juice producers in the South Caucasus region, established in 2011. The plant located in Aghsu was built on a plot of 5.5 hectares. The area of the main covered part of the plant is 20500 m2. The plant operates shops for the reception and primary processing of fruit, the production of alcohol, the production and bottling of wine and other spirits. The plant is equipped with equipment from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria and France. The factory has grape and pomegranate gardens of 450 and 400 hectares, respectively. Pomegranate gardens are organic and certified by the German Institute Lacon GmbH. Fruit gardens, their methods of cultivation and production are regularly checked by local and foreign specialists. In the gardens, a drip irrigation system is used.

Then we will take you to Shato Monolit for overnight. We will also have dinner there.

Next day we will take you to Savalan – crystal-clear water cascading down from the great Caucasus Mountains, winding its way through the lavish land in the foothills of the valley and suffusing the sun-bathed vines. These ripe, abundant grapes are then collected and handled with care and love before being transformed by the apparent magic of a master into wine. This is what happens every year in the Savalan valley. After winery we will have local lunch and leave back to Baku.
